R5000-HD DVR Modification for ViP 622/722

The R5000-HD adds full DVR archiving capability to the Dish Network model ViP 622/722 DVRs. Includes a 2m USB cable and the standard DVR/PVR software suite. The ViP 622 and 722 are the most advanced DVRs from Dish Network, offering full MPEG-4 reception capability. The R5000-HD captures all MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 (H.264) HD and SD channels from the 622 (subscription required). Recording of OTA (DTV) channels is also supported. Note: the R5000-HD is installed on tuner 1 "TV 1" only. Extraction (copying programs from the internal drive) is not possible.
